Massive asteroid to fly past Earth today at speed of 93,000 km/hr

A massive asteroid is set to make an exceptionally close pass by Earth on June 27, speeding past our planet at approximately 58,000 mph (93,000 km/hr). The asteroid, comparable in size to a mountain, is larger than 99% of all known near-Earth objects. Known as 2011 UL21, the asteroid poses no risk to Earth, according to The European Space Agency.
