Massive fire erupts in Lucknow slums, flames visible from kilometres

A massive fire has erupted in the slums of Lucknow's Vikas Nagar area on Wednesday, with flames visible from kilometres. Over 20 shanties were reduced to ashes in the fire, NDTV reported. Fire brigade teams have rushed to the spot and are currently dousing the fire. Cylinders kept in the slums were continuously exploding, reports said.
