Massive hailstorm hits Assam, over 4,400 houses damaged

A massive hailstorm hit several areas of Assam, damaging over 4,400 houses in four districts. Almost 18,000 people have been affected, and the families hit by the hailstorm were supplied with tarpaulin sheets, Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) stated in a report. Several schools also suffered damage due to the hailstorm.
