Master weaver Khem Raj Sundriyal to be honoured with Padma Shri

Weaver Khem Raj Sundriyal, who has contributed to India's handloom and tapestry weaving culture with over five decades of experience, will be conferred with the Padma Shri. Sundriyal implemented the Hattah technique in the Punja Duree loom and enhanced the Jamdani weaving in woollen yarn. He has trained and mentored over 10,000 weavers through his cooperative across the country.
