Mastercard CFO Mehra named among new Salesforce board directors

Salesforce on Friday announced the appointment of three new independent directors to its board. Mastercard CFO Sachin Mehra, ValueAct Capital CEO Mason Morfit and Carnival Corporation's ex-CEO Arnold Donald will join the board on March 1, Salesforce said. This reportedly comes as Salesforce faces pressure from activist investors for better cost control and a management shakeup.
