Match-fixing elections: Rahul on CEC allegedly advising ex-IAS officer to contest for BJP

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed CEC Gyanesh Kumar on Saturday for allegedly advising ex-Keralam Chief Secretary Jiji Thomson to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha polls on a BJP ticket. Gandhi alleged that Kumar was used by the BJP as a "recruiter", saying, "PM Modi and Amit Shah made him the umpire and put him in charge of match-fixing India's elections."
