Mathematician Narasimhan, known for Narasimhan-Seshadri theorem, dies at 88

Mathematician MS Narasimhan, who along with CS Seshadri was known for their work on Narasimhan–Seshadri theorem, passed away at 88. He was a recipient of the Bhatnagar Prize, the Third World Academy Award for Mathematics and a Fellow of the Royal Society, London. PM Narendra Modi mourned his loss and tweeted that he "will be remembered as an exemplary mathematician."
