Mathura Shahi Masjid panel asks SC to stop Centre's right to reply in worship act case

Mathura Shahi Masjid Eidgah Committee has moved the Supreme Court seeking to close the Centre's right of filing a reply on a plea challenging the constitutional validity of the Places of Worship Act. The court had issued a notice to the Centre in March 2021. The committee has accused the Centre of deliberately delaying its response in the matter.
