Mathura village name board defaced, 'Raghuwarpur' painted over 'Akbarpur'

Unidentified persons defaced a village name board on Delhi-Agra highway in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura, painting over 'Akbarpur' and replacing it with 'Raghuwarpur', police said. The incident came to light after a video went viral on social media. Officials said the act appears linked to a recent remark by Bageshwar Dham’s Dhirendra Shastri, who had suggested renaming the village to "Raghuwarpur".
