Mauritius bank's Mumbai branch loses ₹143 cr to cyber fraud

The State Bank of Mauritius' Nariman Point branch in Mumbai has been cheated of nearly ₹143 crore after unknown fraudsters allegedly hacked the bank's servers. The bank has filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) last week. It said that the fraudsters illegally accessed various accounts and transferred the money to multiple accounts outside India.
