Toddler dies after falling into paddy field in Kerala

Mavelikkara toddler Ashar Kris, one-and-a-half year old, died after accidentally falling into a water-filled paddy field near his home. The boy was standing near the field with his grandfather when he slipped into the water. His grandfather reportedly did not notice the fall, and the child's body was recovered about an hour later.
