Mayawati demands return to ballot paper voting, questions EVMs

BSP chief Mayawati, at a UP unit meeting, questioned EVM credibility, alleging they are used to influence free and fair voting. She said most people now demand a return to ballot papers and claimed BSP was the first to oppose EVMs. She also accused Congress of a tainted electoral record and cited money, muscle power, and criminalisation as poll concerns.
