Mayawati calls for nationwide protest against Shah's remarks on Ambedkar

BSP Chief Mayawati on Saturday called for nationwide protests on December 24 over Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks on Babasaheb Ambedkar. She said, "His disrespect by Amit Shah hurts the hearts of the people." Mayawati demanded that Shah retract his statement, stating that people across all sections are angry and that the BSP is pressing for an apology.
