Congress on Friday criticised PM Narendra Modi-led government after Amul increased the prices for all variants of its pouch milk by up to ₹3 per litre. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said the common man will be affected by the rise in milk prices. "Maybe PM Modi and Amit Shah don't drink milk...but [milk is] necessary for children," he said.
