MBBS student dies as SUV hits scooter in UP, body flung onto overbridge railing

Akash Pandey, a 22-year-old MBBS student, was killed and two others were seriously injured after an SUV hit several two-wheelers in UP's Gorakhpur, the police said. The incident occurred when the speeding car, driving on the wrong side of the road, hit the scooter. The collision threw Akash nearly 15 metres. He struck the railing of the overbridge.
