TMC suspends 3 leaders over ‘anti-party’ remarks after Bengal election loss

TMC suspended three of its spokespersons, including Kohinoor Majumdar, Riju Dutta and Kartik Ghosh, for six years over alleged anti-party remarks after the party’s defeat to BJP in the recently concluded West Bengal polls. Majumdar reportedly said leaders waited hours to meet TMC general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, while Dutta publicly praised the BJP government’s handling of post-poll violence.
