MCA is my mother, BCCI is my father: Gavaskar after BCCI names board room after him

The BCCI has named a board room at its headquarters after former India captain Sunil Gavaskar. Reacting to the honour, Gavaskar said, "MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) is my mother. BCCI is my father." The board room has been named '10000 Gavaskar'. Notably, Gavaskar was the first Indian batter to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket.
