Matthew McConaughey has explained how he ad-libbed his famous 'Alright, alright, alright' line from 'Dazed and Confused' based on his character's motivations. "There wasn't a word written for that...scene...I said, 'I'm in my 1970 Chevelle...Wooderson's about getting high...He's about rock and roll'," McConaughey said. "I heard 'Action' and I looked up, 'Aright, alright, alright!'," he added.
