MCD begins survey to identify residential premises being misused

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has begun a citywide survey to identify the misuse of residential premises for either commercial purposes or non-residential purposes, following Supreme Court directions. The time-bound exercise is set to cover areas designated exclusively for residential use, including unauthorised and regularised colonies, group-housing societies and plotted developments.
