McDonald's burger linked to 1 death, several food poisonings in US

One person has died and dozens of other people have fallen sick following a severe E. coli bacteria outbreak linked to McDonald's Quarter Pounder hamburgers, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said. The outbreak began in late September and spread to 10 US states. Ten people have been hospitalised, including one child with hemolytic uremic syndrome.
