McDonald's fires CEO Steve over 'consensual relationship' with employee

McDonald's has fired CEO Steve Easterbrook after he violated company policy by engaging in a consensual relationship with an employee. McDonald's said it forbids managers from having romantic relationships with direct or indirect subordinates. "Given the values of the company, I agree with the board that it's time for me to move on," Easterbrook said in an email to employees.
