McDonald's temporarily shuts US offices, prepares to lay off employees: Report

McDonald's is temporarily closing its offices in the US as the fast food chain prepares to inform its corporate employees about layoffs this week, The Wall Street Journal reported. The employees have been asked to work from home from Monday through Wednesday and cancel all in-person meetings with outside parties. McDonald's employs more than 1,50,000 people globally in corporate roles.
