McKinsey made me scapegoat for opioid crisis: Fired partner Ghatak

Former McKinsey partner Arnab Ghatak, who was fired in 2021, has sued the global consulting firm over defaming him and making him a "scapegoat" in its opioid-related business. Ghatak alleged he was used to distract attention from the firm's work advising manufacturers of opioid pain medications. "We terminated [Ghatak] for serious violations of our professional standards," McKinsey said.
