MCX gold rises 0.67%, silver 1%; bullion rates also up on Oct 1

Gold and silver prices surged today, with MCX gold futures rising 0.67% to ₹1.47 lakh/10 gm and silver gaining 1% to ₹2,25,934/kg. In bullion markets, 24K gold reached ₹1.49 lakh/10 gm, while silver stood at ₹2.26 lakh/kg. In New Delhi, 10 gm gold traded at ₹1,49,060 and silver at ₹2,25,120/kg. City-wise retail prices may vary based on local levies, VAT and state taxes.
