MEA says India-backed Chabahar port in Iran not hit by US strikes

The Ministry of External Affairs on Friday denied reports claiming India-backed Chabahar port in Iran was damaged due to strikes by US. "We can confirm that the terminal itself did not suffer any damage," MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said. He added that India is in "discussions with relevant stakeholders" after US' sanctions waiver on the port ended in April.
