MEA welcome US security strategy highlighting India as key partner

India welcomed the US National Security Strategy 2025 for naming India a key strategic partner. The MEA said the report highlights deepening cooperation in defence, technology, and economic sectors, along with a stronger role for India in Indo-Pacific security via the Quad. Both nations also reaffirmed counter-terrorism collaboration at their recent Joint Working Group meeting.
