Meat never banned in BJP-ruled states: Assam CM ahead of WB polls

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said meat has never been banned in BJP-ruled states ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections. He added that BJP never banned meat in Assam, "where it has been in power for...past 10 years". Sarma dismissed West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's claim that BJP would stop people from eating meat if it came to power.
