Medical Devices PLI scheme gets ₹266.64 crore boost

The Centre has released ₹266.64 crore under the Medical Devices PLI Scheme till FY2024-25 and ₹209.80 crore under the Medical Devices Parks Scheme, Union Minister JP Nadda said. The initiatives aim to boost domestic manufacturing, reduce import dependence and strengthen India's medical device infrastructure through investments and new production facilities.
