Medical interns end 3-day protest in MP as govt agrees to 50% hike in stipend

Medical interns called off their three-day protest in Bhopal after the Madhya Pradesh government announced a 50% hike in their monthly stipend to around ₹21,000. They initially demanded ₹30,000/month. The government also removed two policemen from active duty for allegedly using water cannons and lathis on the protesting interns as they attempted to march to CM Mohan Yadav's residence.
