Medical student found hanging inside hostel in UP's Etawah

A medical student was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside the hostel of the Saifai Medical College in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah. The deceased, Himanshu Gupta (19), was a first-year MBBS student and a resident of Gorakhpur, police said. Notably, Gupta's mother claimed that there were injury marks on her son's body and alleged it to be a murder case.
