Meditation app Calm worth billion dollars post raising $88mn

US-based meditation app Calm has reached unicorn status after raising $88 million in a Series B funding round at a valuation of $1 billion. The funding round was led by TPG Growth and saw participation from investors including Insight Venture Partners and American actor Ashton Kutcher's Sound Ventures. Calm was founded in 2012 by Alex Tew and Michael Acton Smith.
