Meghalaya CM-led NPP withdraws support to CM Biren's Manipur govt

Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma-led National People's Party (NPP) has withdrawn support from the BJP-led Manipur government headed by CM N Biren Singh. "In the last few days, we have seen the situation further deteriorate...We strongly feel that the Manipur state government..has completely failed to resolve the crisis and restore normalcy," Sangma said in a letter to BJP chief JP Nadda.
