Meghalaya CM presents ₹32,023-cr Budget, boosts capital outlay

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma presented a ₹32,023-crore Budget for 2026-27, crossing ₹10,000 crore in capital outlay for the first time. Sports allocation doubled to ₹844 crore, with ₹210 crore for the 2027 National Games. Fiscal deficit is pegged at 3.5%, as the State pushes its Vision 2032 growth roadmap.
