Meghalaya govt doubles special leave for employees to 30 days

The Meghalaya Cabinet has approved doubling of special casual leave for government employees from 15 to 30 days. Minister Paul Lyngdoh said this will support employees participating in sports events, treating such periods as duty instead of leave. The move aims to aid preparations for the upcoming National Games.
