Meghalaya launches 3 mobile medical units for remote areas

Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma launched three Mobile Medical Units to improve healthcare access in remote areas. Serving Mawpat, Pynursla and Baghmara, the units will cover around 93 villages and over two lakh people. They will provide consultations, diagnostics, medicines, follow-up care, NCD screening and referrals to higher healthcare facilities when required.
