Meghalaya opens rehab centre, launches SOPs for facilities

Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma inaugurated the SEWA Inland-DREAM Rehabilitation Centre in Tura to strengthen treatment and recovery support for people affected by substance abuse. The state also launched SOPs for rehabilitation centres to improve uniformity and accountability under its DREAM initiative, which focuses on prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and community participation.
