Meghalaya posts 10% GSDP growth; borrowings at 7.8%

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said Meghalaya recorded nearly 10% real GSDP growth for three consecutive post-Covid years, with borrowings at just 7.8% of total receipts in FY24. Replying to the Budget debate, he highlighted a capital-led growth push, rising investments and Vision 2032 targets on jobs, farm incomes and social sector gains.
