Meghalaya signs MoU with Musk's Starlink for internet in remote areas

Meghalaya has signed an MoU with Starlink India to expand satellite-based internet connectivity in the state, particularly to schools, health centres, and communities in remote areas. The signing was witnessed by CM Conrad K Sangma, SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell, and Starlink Business Operations' Vice President Lauren Dreyer. Starlink is a satellite constellation operated by Elon Musk's SpaceX.
