Meghalaya traces 2,000 contacts of state's 1st COVID-19 patient within 18 hrs: CM

Meghalaya has traced 2,000 contacts of the state's first coronavirus patient within 18 hours, Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma said on Tuesday. "Preliminary investigation suggests one of the relatives of the concerned person had a travel history to one of the infected countries and he was back in Shillong before the 14-day quarantine period was over," Sangma added.
