Meghalaya wins its opening match of U-17 girls Subroto Cup

Meghalaya defeated Chandigarh 2-0 in their opening match of the 65th edition of the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2026 in New Delhi. The match was played in Group D of the U-17 girls' category. Meghalaya is represented by Little Star Higher Secondary School of Eastern West Khasi Hills, which emerged as the state champion in July.
