Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah welcome Kathua rape verdict

Former Jammu and Kashmir CMs Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah welcomed the verdict by the Pathankot court which convicted six out of seven accused in the Kathua rape and murder case. Mufti said, "Hope loopholes in our judicial system aren't exploited and culprits get exemplary punishment." While Abdullah said, "The guilty deserve the most severe punishment possible under the law."
