Mekathoti Sucharitha appointed as Andhra Pradesh Home Minister

Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday appointed Mekathoti Sucharitha as the new Home Minister of the state. She is the first woman home minister in the remaining state of Andhra Pradesh formed after Telangana was carved out in 2014. Sucharitha represents Prathipadu (SC) reserved constituency in Guntur district.
