Melinda French Gates, MacKenzie Scott donate $40 mn to fund gender equality

Philanthropists MacKenzie Scott and Melinda French Gates, along with billionaire Lynn Schusterman's family foundation, have awarded $40 million to four organisations that promote gender equality. The recipients were selected as part of Equality Can't Wait Challenge, hosted by French Gates' investment company Pivotal Ventures. French Gates has pledged to spend $1 billion to support gender equality.
