Members of upper-caste community stage protest against UGC in Lucknow, raise slogans

The Savarna Morcha organization staged a protest and raised slogans, demanding rollback of UGC rules in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow. They held placards reading "Constitutional Untouchables". The protesters, gathered at 1090 intersection, also carried out symbolic funeral processions of upper caste MPs and MLAs. They said that every person who does not speak out in the interest of society is dead.
