Meme-inspired cryptocurrency hits record high, up 760% in last month

Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency inspired by the Shiba Inu "Doge" meme, jumped over 40% on Tuesday to hit an all time high of $0.58. The cryptocurrency, which initially started as a joke in 2013, has soared more than 19,200% over the last year and about 760% in the last 30 days. Its market capitalisation stood at over $73 billion on Tuesday.
