Men claim worm found in Rameshwaram Cafe's food, outlet says 'Staged for ₹25-lakh extortion'

The Rameshwaram Cafe filed a police complaint after a group of men claimed a worm was found in the food served at the eatery's outlet at Bengaluru airport. "The individuals threatened to circulate the video on social media unless they were compensated...We received a phone call demanding ₹25-lakh cash to avoid reputational harm," Rameshwaram Cafe said, calling the incident "staged".
