Men in burqas sent to threaten prisoner's wife thrashed by locals

A bizarre incident was reported in Shivamogga after four men disguised in burqas allegedly attempted to threaten the wife of an undertrial prisoner in a murder case. Suspicious locals intercepted them and assaulted three of the suspects before handing them over to the police. During questioning, the accused allegedly admitted they had been sent by the prisoner.
