Mendes refuses handshake with Neymar ahead of Brazilian Série A match

Vasco da Gama footballer Thiago Mendes declined a handshake offered by Santos' Neymar ahead of their Brazilian Série A match on Sunday. A viral video of the incident showed Neymar seemingly surprised by Mendes' refusal. Meanwhile, Santos won the match 3-0, with Gabriel Barbosa, Willian Arão and Luan Peres scoring in the 68th, 77th and 81st minutes, respectively.
