MEP punished for saying women are less intelligent than men

Polish Member of the European Parliament Janusz Korwin-Mikke has been suspended for 10 days, banned from representing the parliament for a year and has lost allowance worth €9,180 (₹6.3 lakh). This comes in response to his recent speech in parliament in which he said that women must earn less than men because they are weaker, smaller and less intelligent.
