Merger of Raghav Chadha and 6 other AAP MPs with BJP approved by Rajya Sabha Chairman

Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishnan has approved the merger of seven AAP MPs, including Raghav Chadha, Harbhajan Singh and Swati Maliwal, with BJP. This comes after more than 2/3 of AAP MPs in the House decided to leave the party to join BJP. The move has increased BJP's strength in the Upper House from 106 to 113.
